No School - Friday May 14, 2010 Kindergarten Screening

Kindergarten Screening – If your child is registered at SSMJ for the 2010-2011 School Year Kindergarten Program, Mrs. Gilson will be sending your child’s scheduled screening time home with them. If you have not registered or know of someone interested in any of our programs please have them contact us as soon as possible.

End of Year Program – Will be here at SSMJ (the Main Building) on Friday May 28^th at 10:45. Immediately following our program we will enjoy cookies and milk and have time for the children to enjoy playing in our play area. Additional information will be coming home.

Fine Motor Skills

-Tearing newspaper into strips and then crumpling them into balls. Use to stuff a scarecrow or other art creation.

- Scrunching up one sheet of newspaper in one hand.

- Using a plant sprayer to spray plants. In the winter add food coloring and spray the snow to make snow monsters/animals.

-Shaking dice by cupping the hands together, forming an empty air space between the palms.
